Ciao a tutti vi descriverò il meglio possibile il mio problema!

Ho installato debian tutto perfettamente va da Dio nessun problema di sorta, ad un certo punto mi si impalla o meglio il mouse va ma ovunque io clicchi non succede niente.
Riavvio ci sto un po su, apro qualche programma e mi si impalla di nuovo stessa cosa di prima.
Non dipende dal programma che uso si impalla indipendentemente da quello che faccio per favore datemi un consiglio!!

Rettifico cosa succede esattamente.
In pratica non posso più interagire con il desktop (uso GNOME) solo con ctrl-alt-backspace mi posso riloggare, per il resto non mi è permesso fare niente, a volte mi si impalla tutto tranne che una applicazione ad esempilo firefox e posso continuare ad usare solo quella che va benissimo ma tutto il resto è inutilizzabile.

NOn riesco proprio a capire nemmeno quale è il problema.
Qualcuno saprebbe dirmi come fare a vedere almeno dei log in cui vedere cosa c'è esattamente che crasha??
Credo che crashi GNOME o qualche demone particolare perchè anche riloggandomi con ctrl+alt+backspace non mi va per niente il desktop vedo solo la freccettina del mouse!

Sono disperatamente in cerca di consigli!

Credo di aver risolto, in pratica mi crashava il server X credo perchè non riusciva a supportare il carico di lavoro, quindi sono passato da una profondità di colore di 24bit a 16bit, non mi crasha più da un po di tempo e così ho anche un minor uso di CPU e di RAM.

Ho un pentium celeron 2,4 gigahertz, 512 megabyte di ram, scheda videa da 64 Mb condivisi integrata nella scheda madre, scheda audio integrata. La scheda madre è una Asus P4S61
