so' benissimo che esistono decine di guide e post sull'argomento, ma scusatemi e' tutto il pomeriggio che ci sto impazzendo..
Lenny appena installata di fresco con cd "netinst" scaricato oggi e driver nvidia geforce 9800..non riesco proprio ad installarli, e rimango al "login" in modalita' testuale.

Salve,
ti mostro come ho installato io i driver Nvidia senza problemi:
da terminale:
#apt-get install module-assistant
#module-assistant prepare
si carica tutti i moduli che gli servono.
Poi chiudo gdm con /etc/init.d/gdm stop e stoppo il server X
a volte lo devo killare poichè non si stoppa.. cmq eseguo un
#ps -A ,vedo il numero del processo di gdm e lo killo.
cmq dopo di chè inserisci il login, naturalmente come root.
Poi vai dove hai scaricato i driver Nvidia e fai:
sh NVIDIA-1xxx-xxxx-xxx.sh
dovresti riuscire ad installarla tranquillamente.
