Scusate, spero di non essere pedante e ripetitivo e di non nausearvi con la solita -suppongo- richiesta inutile e dalla banale risoluzione, spero...

Non me ne vogliate e capitemi: voglio a tutti i costi installare questa distribuzione ma vado incontro ad un problema di cui non vedo la fine: ho il cd minimale della release 4.0r3, il kernel dovrebbe essere il 2.6.24 se non sbaglio, kernel che utilizza i driver per la mia wireless (e scheda ethernet suppongo a questo punto) iwl e non più ipw3945.

Adesso, se non posso collegarmi alla rete una volta installata debian, come fare per recuperare tutti i pacchetti (firmware, wicd e gli altri..) necessari al funzionamento della rete?

Ho pensato che scaricandoli da internet dall'altro s.o. che uso, spostandoli poi sul desktop debian e installandoli da lì avrei potuto fare qualcosa, ma ne vale la pena?

E di una cosa non riesco a capacitarmi -come ho accennato sopra- perché anche la rete eth1, non è riconosciuta?
Se riuscissi a far funzionare quella in primis per la wireless avrei tutto il tempo che voglio per sistemarla!!!
