Mi consigliate i driver dell'Nvidia?
Grazie!

Citazione:

No, perché non puoi pilotare direttamente quella scheda (sempre escludendo Bumblebee).

cvt 1440 900
   # 1440x900 59.89 Hz (CVT 1.30MA) hsync: 55.93 kHz; pclk: 106.50 MHz
Modeline "1440x900_60.00" 106.50 1440 1528 1672 1904 900 903 909 934 -hsync +vsync

xrandr --newmode "1440x900_60.00" 106.50 1440 1528 1672 1904 900 903 909 934 -hsync +vsync
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Suggerimenti?
Grazie

Secondo me X sta usando il driver fbdev invece che intel:

Citazione:

(II) LoadModule: "intel"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/intel_drv.so
[...]
(II) LoadModule: "fbdev"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/fbdev_drv.so
[...]
(II) UnloadModule: "intel"
(II) Unloading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/intel_drv.so

Citazione:

(II) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI2 capable
(II) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI capable
(II) AIGLX: Loaded and initialized /usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so
(II) GLX: Initialized DRISWRAST GL provider for screen 0

$ xrandr --newmode "1440x900_60.00" 106.50 1440 1528 1672 1904 900 903 909 934 -hsync +vsync
$ xrandr --addmode default "1440x900_60.00"
$ xrandr --output default --mode "1440x900_60.00"

root@debiax:/etc/X11# xrandr | grep "connected"
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
default connected 1920x1080+0+0 0mm x 0mm
root@debiax:/etc/X11# cvt 1440 900
# 1440x900 59.89 Hz (CVT 1.30MA) hsync: 55.93 kHz; pclk: 106.50 MHz
Modeline "1440x900_60.00" 106.50 1440 1528 1672 1904 900 903 909 934 -hsync +vsync
root@debiax:/etc/X11# xrandr --newmode "1440x900_60.00" 106.50 1440 1528 1672 1904 900 903 909 934 -hsync +vsync
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
root@debiax:/etc/X11# xrandr --addmode default 1440x900_60.00
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
root@debiax:/etc/X11# xrandr --output default --mode 1440x900_60.00
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
xrandr: Configure crtc 0 failed

#/etc/init.d/gdm3 stop
#cd /etc/X11/
#Xorg -configure
Number of created screens does not match number of detected devices.Configuration failed

Suggerimenti?

A cosa ti riferisci, scusa?

# echo >>/etc/apt/sources.list <<EOF
deb http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian/ wheezy main
EOF
# aptitude update
# aptitude -t wheezy install xserver-xorg-video-intel

Hai dovuto reinstallare cosa?
